Learners find numbers that add up to 10, 20 or 30 in different shapes. Learners can write sums circled using as many different ways.

Purpose

  1. Learners use efficient ways to add.
  2. Make or formulate different sums.

Materials

  1. Draw or print these Make 10, 20, 30 number grids
  2. Pen/Pencil

How to play:

1.  Learner gets a grid with various numbers adding to 10, 20 or 30.

2. The learner has to circle the required total in any direction: up, down, across or diagonally.

3. Learners write down the circled sums using different methods.
