Materials Needed:
Dice or DIY Dice
Players:
2 or more

Players get 3 or 4 hexagons touching to each other in a line or other configuration as shown on the game board (3 will take less time and may be more accessible for Grade 1 learners)

Purpose

  1. Practice arrays

Materials

  • 2 Dices
  • Print out this Bee Arrays Board and place in a plastic sleeve
  • Kokis
  • Cloths

How to play:

  1. 1st player throws both dice e.g. 2 and 3
  2. Player looks on the game board for a 2 x 3 or 3 x 2 array. If there is one available, mark the hexagon with initials or name
  3.   Next player takes a turn
  4.   1st player to mark 3 or 4 hexagons in a line or other configuration, wins
